These terms apply when you use the Mohingo app. By tapping "Accept and continue" you agree to them. Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains how your information is handled.

Using Mohingo

• Mohingo is a self-study English course. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial learning.
• The app, its lessons, texts, audio and design belong to their authors. Please don't copy, resell or redistribute them.
• Some parts of the app are open-source software, used under their own licences, listed in the app under About → Open-source licences.

Your account

• An account is optional. If you create one, keep your password to yourself: you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can sign out, reset your progress or delete your account at any time in Settings.
• Accounts that are used to abuse or disrupt the service may be disabled.

Learning results

• Mohingo's scores, levels and test results are there to guide your own study. They are not an official qualification or certificate, and they are not a guarantee of your level in any external exam.
• Automatic marking of speaking and writing can make mistakes, especially with speech recognition. If you think an answer was marked wrongly, trust your own judgement and keep practising.

Availability

• Mohingo is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and working, but we can't promise that it will be free of errors or always available.
• Online features — the account, progress sync and the online grammar check — depend on outside services and may sometimes be unavailable. Your learning keeps working on your phone when they are.
• To the extent the law allows, the developer is not responsible for any loss that comes from using or being unable to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Changes

The app and these terms may change over time. If the terms change in a way that matters, the app will show you the new version and ask you to accept it before you continue.
